PortAventura Foundation brings Christmas to the Joan XXIII and Sant Joan hospitals

Woody and Santa Claus made their traditional Christmas visit to the Hospital Joan XXIII in Tarragona and Hospital Sant Joan in Reus to bring some Christmas cheer to the kids on the Paediatrics ward.

Woody, accompanied by Santa Claus and a magical fairy, were in charge of distributing smiles, excitement and gifts to all the children who have to spend the most wonderful time of the year in hospital. The iconic characters took advantage of this visit to wish a Merry Christmas to all those mums and dads who are staying in the hospital’s neonatal unit together with their newborns. This was truly a very special visit and a day to remember for both the families and the healthcare workers.

This initiative has, once again, enabled the PortAventura Foundation to bring joy, smiles and hope to all those children who, unfortunately because of health problems, have to remain in hospital and are unable to enjoy Christmas at home.
